My gf and I are moving in together. We both have kids are our oldest both have iPods. I am looking to purchase a 2009 mini as our main mac for now and would like fo set it up for all to use.
My thought was to have each of us have our own account for pax which would also mean we all have our own iTunes libraries. J would put the libraries on a separate external and do if that way. But we have been talking about picking up an apple tv for the main room and then later on adding one for the kids room. My guess is that I would need a separate library and user for the tv/movies for the apple tv right? But would that mean if the kids are on the computer room playing music that we couldn't stream a movie to the apple tv?
I'd like feedback on my ideas and corrections if I assumed incorrectly. Feel free to chime in with your setups as well!
