If I want a fully independent Apple Watch, can I have a relative add my Apple Watch 6 or SE to their family plan, this will get me my own phone number, is this possible, if so does anyone have a list of the prices for each of the major carrier's for this add on quasi independent family plan Apple Watch SE/6?

I would not call it fully independent since the individual that has your Watch paired has the ability to manage your Watch.

Apple has posted in their support site that you don't even need to share the Cellular plan. You can have a Wearable plan from another carrier if you want more freedom.

* An Apple Watch that you set up for a family member can use a different carrier than your iPhone uses.

To add your Cellular watch to someone's Cellular plan, they have to have a plan that supports Wearable devices. Most shared plans would cover this and newer unlimited plans.

For AT&T it is $10 +taxes (total about $14.65), T-Mobile is $10 flat depending on Cellular Plan.

Just a heads up for folks to new putting a watch on their T-Mobile plan.

During setup it may show up as $15. Then there's a $5 autopay discount, bringing it to the flat $10/mo rate.

Confused me a bit when I was first setting up after switching to TMO a couple years ago, so figured I might save someone some angst if they still show it that way.
