i pay for various magazines that my wife reads. as her account is UK and mine is Portuguese, it was always done the old fashioned way, i logged out of her app store, in as me, downloaded the magazine apps, logged back in as her.
however with a new ipad we thought it made more sense to change her account to portuguese to enable family sharing. main reason was the icloud storage, she couldnt cope with the free 5gb and my 50gb was tight so i upgraded to 200gb and this is shared.
i see she has access to my apple tv+, apple arcade, plus all of my paid apps. However even when i download the magazine apps from my shared purchases rather than hers, when i open them and press restore purchases nothing appears.
Does this mean magazine subscriptions arent shareable? seems weird when paid apps are.
