Family sharing shows on all devices or not?

So we have family sharing setup.

If I select a song on my macbook from my wife's library will it also show up on my iPhone? This does not seem to be working automatically. When I look for the newly shared song it shows on my macbook in iTunes but not on my iPhone.


Or do I have to select it on my iPhone again to be shared from my wife's library? I thought when a song was shared it would show up on all my devices.
