Family Sharing with Paypal?

Does anyone know if Family Sharing will work if all accounts are set to the same PayPal address instead of a Credit Card?
I really prefer having small entertainment purchases come right out of my bank account as opposed to getting dumped on a credit card.

Family Sharing does not work with PayPal, I found this out today.
