fan and hd question?

I know the 2 are not really related but i figured i'd kill 2 birds with one stone.
when my fans kick in I really hear it on the right side but not as much on the left hand side. Is this normal? I have istat pro and it shows that both are spinning at about 2000rpm.

also how can i make sure i have the 7200rpm hd. is there anything that shows that this is the 7200rpm model in the system profiler?

i don't know about your fan problem but in profiler just copy the model number of your HD and google it, you should find what you're looking for.
