Fan Control Mac Pro & Vista?

Hi guys,

I have a Mac Pro 2008 Octo 2.8 running OSX 10.5.8 and currently use SMC fan control in OSX to ramp up the fan speeds and get my my rig running at about 30 degrees C across the board when I want to do serious work.

However I also have Windows 7 64 bit running so that I can use certain rendering and modeling programs for my freelance and personal projects as well as keeping up on industry standards, but I currently don't know how to control the fans to keep it running sweetly. Is there any conflict in between the bootcamp and native os if I find a fan control, will it change or cause any problems with the fan control? Just wondering so that I don't have to sort a major problem if I do go down that route in windows.

Set your fan speeds / thresholds while your're in OS X.
When rebooting to Windows, it will still remember those settings until you shut down your computer.
