Hello. There's a 13 '2017 macbook, with a touchbar that has some trouble with the controller fan. Any program that I install, Macs fan control, smc fan controller, does not go to control the fans, I put them to the maximum and they do not even start.
I searched the net, found the SMC thing, reset it, (I did as it was written, I hope it reseted), and it still does not work. That's only a few days since I made a factory reset.
What's the problem? I have the Mac from feb 2018. Do you think it should be sent in warranty?

I have a 2017 MBP w/TB, and I have not been able to adjust the fan control speed with iStat like I used to on my pre 2016 MBPs. It is possible that fan control is no longer accessible through 3rd party apps because of the T1 chip used for TouchID. There may be a work around, but honestly unless your computer is getting way to hot and no fans kicking in I'd let your MacBook Pro do its thing.

For reference, my 2017 MBP shows 0 RPM on both fan speeds until it passes about 45-50 celsius. After that the fans will crank up to cool accordingly.

If you think the fans aren't working correctly then you can try taking it to Apple to have them check it out.

As I saw yesterday, they started to move when I started playing CS:GO. Now as I see, it's working ok, I see on iStat they are at 1660 RPM, but no all the time. Sometimes they are 0 sometimes are working ok at the same temp. I pisses my off that I cannot control them manually.
