Fan discount and preordering?

I have a fan discount with at&t and im eligible for an early upgrade the $200 price

Can i preorder from apple & still keep my fan discount or does it have to be from at&t ?

Also when you get the phone, are you suppose to connect the phone to iTunes or call at&t to activate it ?

Yes, you can preorder from Apple. FAN discounts aren't affected.

You can activate the iPhone right on the phone itself.
