Fan noise on new 2.3/2.6 15"

I want to get one of these as long as it runs quietly when I record into my DAW software. Anyone have any idea how noisy the fans are? A few years ago the Mac Mini I had sounded like a tube train passing and recording acoustic instruments became impossible. I won't be stressing the graphics - just the cpu with real-time VST plug-ins and instruments.

It really depends on the specific workload you run at any given point in time. It's hard to predict without running your actual workload.
