I just upgraded my mini from Panther 10.3.9 to Tiger 10.4.4 and it seems as if the fan is running constantly and louder now than before. Previously I could only hear the fan if the house was very quiet (late at night for example) but now I hear it all of the time. It is not unbearably loud, but louder all the same. When I first upgraded to Tiger, the mini froze on reboot and gave the beachball no matter what; I couldn't even shut down. I power cycled the mini and it came up (very sluggish until Spotlight finished indexing) and now everything seems OK except for the fan. Have others here experienced this?

Fan running louder after upgrade to Tiger

I've noticed some higher CPU usage from Safari and iTunes in 10.4.4 over 10.4.3. That's about it.
