Hello,

I just noticed that after I upgrade my OS to lion, whenever I am on video calling with friend (either using Skype or Facebook "Skype"), my fan speed would increase from 2000 rpm to 6000 rpm, is this normal? or should I do a fix using fan control here?

Please advice, because during SL, I am not sure if I also have the same problem, just notice it sounds noisier lately.

Thank you!

I've always had high fan activity with Video Calling either on Skype or Messenge since Leopard. Didn't notice anything unusual after upgrading to Lion.

thanks for your reply, however I compare it to my iMac 21" SL 10.6.8 running Skype 2.8, the fan speed is 1200 rpm still, no sign of increase compared to my MBP with is over 6000. :(

Hope to see more reply if I am the only one.

Mine works fine 13" MBP 2010 8GB ram and SSD if that matters
