Sorry if this has been posted already but...

I was using my macbook pro 2.2 today while unplugged, then once i plugged it in when it was low, i noticed the fans sped up to about 3500 - 4000 rpm. I looked in the iStat widget and i guess the highest temp was the memory control, it was about 60c.

Is this normal to happen? If so, can someone explain why?

it's nothing to be concerned about. Mine regularly do it when charging as the let side of my MBP tends to get a little hotter with the charging connection. Does it bother you or just curious?

I was just curious actually, just because i plugged it in and it was just sitting there doing nothing really, and out of nowhere i just heard the fans get louder and louder. Was just wondering since nothing was running why they were going faster.

Thanks for the input though!

Anybody else notice this?
