Fan noise

All things are relative, but I traded my QuadG5 for a Quad2.66 Mac Pro. The MP is substantially more quiet than the G5. The G5 at idle is louder than anything I have heard from the MP. You do hear regular drive access but the machine is very quiet. I probably never noticed the drive on the G5 because the fans were so loud...
