Fanfare or quiet update

Do you think Apple will have an iPad-like announcement for the new MacBook Pro's or will the Apple store be update without a fanfare?

If the actual laptop is redesigned there will be an event. If there is just a refresh (like the last update) there most likely will not be an event.

No one can say for certain, but rumors point to a redesign and therefore an event.

I don't care how they do, just as long as they do it.

If I was going to put money down on it, then no media event. As useful and powerful as MBPs are, they're not as sexy or exciting as an iPad or iPhone so apple will just quietly update them
