hey guys,
i am just wandering would it void my warranty if i was to take the 2 fans out of my macbook pro and clean them and the heatsinks?

Technically, yes, since they're not user-serviceable parts. You don't really need to do it, anyway, unless you've been using your MBP in a dust storm. I recently opened my MBP after 4 years, and there was hardly any dust inside.... certainly not enough to warrant cleaning.

my MBP seems to really attract dust here, pritty stupid that it would void the warranty :( though if i did it would apple ever have anyway of finding out if i had to take it back to the genius bar?

I don't think so. It's up to you. I waited until mine was well out of warranty to open it up, and found it wasn't necessary, even after 4 years of use and a lot of travel.

I opened mine up after 6 months, and the fans were already
breeding fine dust-carpets, but i haven't checked it since I changed my
Thermal Paste.
