Fantastical 2 invitations don't work

Hello!

I wonder if someone can tell me if I'm using invitatinos correctly. When I make an event I click on Add Invitees and it populates with the email address. Then I click Add Event.

Often the invitee doesn't receive the invitation. Am I missing a step? Also, is there an outbox or something to confirm an invitation was actually sent?
