I am setting up a 1TB Fantom GForce NAS external drive for a friend of mine.

Having some problems trying to get the thing to mount. He is running 10.4.11 Tiger. Hooked the Ethernet from the drive to the Linksys switch he has. Can't get it to mount.

Went thru the manual and found that the host computer must be set up with the IP address 192.168.0.1. Unfortunately, his router is listed with this address.

When I have it hooked up to the switch I can't access the internet at all. I have to disconnect it and it goes away. (sometimes not until I restart).

If anyone has any suggestions or help on this, I greatly appreciate it!
