Stupid question perhaps - but how do I adjust the brightness/contrast?

They're aren't options in the OSD for these, or in OS X as far as I can see. I'm using the DVI input if that's any use.

Thanks!
Adam

There are buttons on the screen but I don't think you can adjust them from the screen when connected by DVI.

Which doesn't probably help you much... because... I dunno. I never changed those on mine and it looks fine. But I'm not too picky since I can't tell colors apart all that well anyhow... :)

It would appear so .. pity - my old Acer monitor did this just fine.

I've knocked the RGB settings down 5% each so it's not a little darker - much more comfortable on the eye.

Anyone else have problems with the built in USB hub? Mine doesn't seem to like being connected much...causes random USB issues in OSX and wont shutdown cleanly with it connected either.

Cheers,
Adam

You don't for DVI. The brightness controls are for minor adjustments. You should fully calibrate your monitor and adjust your contrast/brightness, etc digitally. I recommend SuperCal.

The OSD controls are for the analog (DSUB) VGA and S-Video connections only.

just got mine in the mail. it is awsome!!!! the brightness can be adjusted, on VGA. i dont have DVI b/c my PB is rev A and it only has VGA :-/ oh well. still a great monitor!!!!!

I just got this monitor and all I can say is WOW!!! I don't know what I am going to do with all this screen real estate! After using a 19" monitor with 1280x1024 the text on this thing seems small haha. Oh well, it is still pleanty large enough to read. I LOVE IT!

Now I just need a nice PM to go with it ;)

Sort of related. What video card do you all use to drive this puppy? Dell has these priced to sell right now at $487 (before any coupons, etc.)! I am quite sure my GeForce 4 MX can't power it, right?

Any suggestions for a decent card for this particular monitor?
