FAST ADVICE: yard sale Indigo iMac M5521... 50$???

yard sale - indigo iMac model M5521. They want 75, I said 50.

Worth it? They say it works and has OS9.1.

It's the indigo, dark blue (not bondi or blueberry).

Not sure which it is, says it is one of these:

Processor Speed: 350MHz or 400MHz or 450MHz or 500MHz

If your processor speed is 350MHz you have a Summer 2000 iMac.

If your processor speed is 400MHz, you will have to remove the bottom case and EMI shield to examine the main logic board. If the processor (located adjacent to the backup battery) does not have a heatsink and a copyright date of 2000 is engraved on the board, you have a Summer 2000 iMac. If there is a heatsink over the processor and a copyright date of 2001 is engraved on the board, you have an Early 2001 iMac.

If your processor speed is 450MHz, you have a Summer 2000 iMac.

If your processor speed is 500MHz and your factory installed memory is 64MB, you have an Early 2001 iMac.

If your processor speed is 500MHz and your factory installed memory is 128MB, you have a Summer 2001 iMac.

They said they are closing in an hour... what do you think? Would this run OSX Tiger?

That was my very first Mac! What are you going to be using it for?

I guess I'd buy it, but it should serve a good purpose because of it's age.

Buy it. We use one at work to this day to test software. As said above, it can run tiger.
