Curious... When using a USB-C to Lightning Cable... plugging iPhone into a Mac Mini... is it charging the iPhone as fast (or faster?) than the 18W Apple fast charger wall plug?

I use the lightning cable with the Apple USB-C to USB-A adapter Plugged into my 2018 Mini.
Definitely doesn’t seem to charge ultra fast but I’ve never timed it.
In iOS 13 there’s an option to turn on/off Peak Performance Charging that may inhibit a faster charge past 80% capacity.
