iPod touch Fast Forward in Video.

Hi, I am sure I read somewhere that the V2 firmware upgrade screwed up the nice smooth fast forwarding in video on the Touch.

Does anyone know if this is fixed in 2.1 or 2.1.1?

I am still on 1.1.5 because of this issue more or less as I have a lot of videos that I fast forward and rewind and would be a pin if this is still broken.

Forwarding video

I just bought the new touch and the video forwarding seems to work just fine. It is not like a fast forward. You just drag the slider to where you want it and it begins playing.
This is a fun toy.

The original poster was talking about using the fast forward button at the bottom of the screen, not dragging the slider at the top to a particular section. The fast forward button does seem jumpy. I think it was smoother on my 1g touch but I don't have it anymore to compare.

Correct it works fine it seems under pre- 2.x software but since then apparently it is jumpy and bad.
