Fast internet on macbook

is there a way to check how fast my internet is?
i remember there being a website for the iphone where you just go to and it'll tell you the speed. is there anything like that for the macbook?

and if so what should the normal connection speed be? (whats yours?)

depends on your ISP. My download is 3xxxx KBps and upload is 30xx KBps normally.
