Faster CD ripper?

Just got a mac and am looking for a faster way to rip cd's on to my new mac. Itunes is unbearably slow at importing cd's, is there an app or a program that will import cd's faster? I am not worried about dvds, just cd's... Thanks for the help!

Problem with fast ripping is errors. Personally I'd rather have perfect rips, I use Accurip (PC) or XLD (Mac)

What's the hurry. iTunes on my PPC Mini only takes about 3 minutes for a CD.

Isn't the speed of the optical drive the biggest bottleneck in this process? Not sure a different application will make much of a difference.
