I am getting a new Mac Pro with a few upgrades.

Which is faster? TO order it off Apple's website and get the faster shipping or go to a nearby Apple Store and get it there? I have always ordered off the website and the wait kills me.

Depending on the upgrades it might be just as long to get it from the Store. If it is just a RAM upgrade, they can do it in store and you will walk out with a new Mac Pro, but if you need some less common BTO configuration then you will have to wait just as long.

It wouldnt hurt to call your local apple store and see what they have in stock.

Your upgrade sounds pretty basic.

It's quite satisfying to walk into the store, and walk out again a short time later with the box for a brand new Mac under your arm. :) Sure beats waiting at home and refreshing the web page with your tracking number on it.

If you can carry a Mac Pro box "under your arm," you've got really long arms and are a lot stronger than I am. :)

Thanks I think I'll do that tomorrow.

I just want to add a GB of RAM and the BlueTooth + Airport Extreme Card.

I can't wait.

Go to the store and pick her up!

I can carry a Mac Pro with one arm so it's not strength, but yah to put it under your arm... wait a second?! Is he you strech armstrong?
