You may want to check the reviews on Aplle’s site re: lightening to USB-C cables. They do fall apart. I found some at Newegg.com (monoprice didn’t have them) with much better reviews and ordered a handful too for what I would have paid for apple’s cheap cables.

The USB-C to USB-C is thicker and does not fall apart.

I personally use a Belkin cable in my car. I've heard good things about Anker cables, too.

But really I recommend any cable with Made for iPhone certification, which should be as good as Apple's.
 
I meant USB-C to lightening cable, regardless all Apple OEM cables fall apart yet it does very by user with how they handle the cables. Read the article I posted above for more info.

Regarding your original question, there are no MFi-certified USB-C to Lightning cables...YET.
