General Fastest data transfer settings for VNC clients from PC/Mac to iDevice?

Can anyone help me out with some VNC settings? There are a lot of them and I'm trying to speed up the connection a bit. I'm using TightVNC on my PC and have veency installed on my iPhone. Does anyone know what kind of settings would speed this connection up the most? Right now I'm using ZRLE encoding, 256 colors only, and lvl 9 compression. Anything else I could do?
