I want to order a memory card for my current Note3 that might also be used in a Note4 if I get that or another Android phone. Is this the fastest card currently around for recording 4K video?

SANDISK 64GB EXTREME MICRO SDXC-UHS-1 (80MB/S)/REG

Thanks.

I read somewhere that smart phones can't take advantage of sandisk extreme or samsung pro SD cards. That sandisk ultra or samsung evo cards are more then enough as far as speeds go.

Hopefully someone can chime in with better info.

I was thinking of using it in my phone and taking it out when I want to use it in my new GoPro (ordering the new 4K one).

1. Any idea if this is fast enough for the GoPro?
2. Is it a bad idea for any reason to go back and forth between my Note3/4 and a GoPro if I format the card before using them again?

Thanks.

Which card? and there should be no issue with formatting the card and switching them around.

I'd recommend this one for best bang/buck, it's fast enough for GoPro 4k
