i want a small SSD to use as a boot drive and am looking at getting the fastest possible

is anyone using a PCI-E SSD in a mac? how much would i be looking at for a drive over 500 mb/s read & write ? will they work in OS X?

http://www.fusionio.com/products/iodrive/

these say they only support support windows/solaris

where can i buy PCI-E SSDs that work in os x? do any support TRIM?

You didn't mention if you had a Mac Pro but since that is the only Mac that has the ability to install PCI-E cards I thought it was worth mentioning. Also just because the card will fit does not mean that it will work.
