FAT32 USB drive problems.

I am a new switcher and am still learning by trial and error with some things so bear with me:

I formatted my USB drives with FAT32 to make sure I could use them on Windows and OSX. Today they wouldn't work on 3 different Windows machines running Vista. They didn't recognize them. Just PDFs on the drive. Got home popped it in the MBP on OSX and it worked fine...verified the FAT32 formatting.

Any ideas?

Most likely the disk has the wrong type of partition map.

Thank you sir...sounds the likely culprit. Will give it a shot but won't be able to confirm on a Windows machine until tomorrow.
