I bought a brand new 1st generation iPod nano last year in September. I just finally opened up the box today and was trying to sync it with iTunes7.
First thing I've noticed when I plugged in the cable, a black low-battery icon shows up on the iPod screen for about couple minutes. Then finally it goes to "Do Not Disconnect" screen, my mac only detects it as removable storage and iTunes7 asked me to restore the iPod. From there, just eject the iPod from my desktop and the iPod ends up showing "Use iTunes to restore" on the screen.
Anybody know why this is happening?
This never happen to my other 1st generation nano when I bought it at the store when first released.
