I may be able to get hold of a 23" cinema display fairly cheap, as it has a slight fault with it. The screen developed a red tint (see pic).

Does anyone know why this would be, and also, if it is relatively easy/cheap to fix.

any info would be great.
cheers

Please do not post this question yet again in another thread. Thanks - one is enough! :)

As to your question: is the display the thing with the problem, or could it be the seller's graphics card? If it's the display, it looks like a possible wiring issue: some leads don't seem to be working.

Ok, cheers, sounds like it won't be that easy to fix so I'll leave it.

cheers

Many of them have this issue; repair requires panel replacement; so if that display isnt under warranty, it wont be worth it to fix.

I've justed emailed the sller, and it's definately aproblem with the display rather than the computer. Does anyone have any idea how much this would cost to fix, and also where I could get it done? (in uk)
