Hi!

I recently bought a new AirPort Express, which I intended to hook up to my active loudspeakers. My speakers are fed directly through RCA (analog signals), and lack potentiometers of any kind, so the volume is always maxed (intended for use with a stereo, or an AirPort Express in my case, to adjust the volume).

Here's my problem however; whenever I play music, and some heavy load electrical device starts up in the same room or another room (for example kitchen fan, fridge, vacuum cleaner), the speakers play a distinct "POP":ing sound. Sometimes its weaker (still very audible), and sometimes it's really loud.

I've narrowed my problem down to the AirPort Express, since the problem doesn't occur when i play the music from another source, for example my iPhone.

Has anybody else experienced this issue? Is my device faulty?
