So I received the sports 42mm black today. The taptic or haptic whatever you want to call it was fine for the morning. The I noticed it stopped vibrating. I've restarted the watch but no longer get the feedback. I think I have a lemon :(

Restore, re-pair and setup your device as new again.

Lots of bugs like this are anticipated in the initial software.

If this doesn't work, bring it to an Apple Store and make an exchange and let us know how that goes.

Good luck.

Will try

Yeah didn't fix the issue. Damn faulty watch :(

Sorry to hear that - major bummer.

If you can, definitely recommend scheduling a genius appointment ASAP. It is likely that they'll have some replacement models on hand. You may be able to get a quick swap today.

Are you really really sure???

If this is true I will happily cancel. I will not wait weeks and weeks and get a broken taptics engine. Since it worked once, it probably lost contact with the power connectors while vibrating.

That would be a major bummer ;)

Agreed, Having my watch delayed might work out for the best if more issues like this are discovered by the people who are getting them now. I'll just sit back and observe the reviews for the next couple of days and cancel my order if more issues are discovered. So far Taptic and Heart Rate monitor could be possible issues

I've reset it 5 times. Spoken to apple via chat. They have no idea.

It's tapgate... God damn it

P.s I live 5 hours from an Apple Store

Who would have thought getting the watch in June would be a good thing #

Having one faulty unit doesn't mean that all watches are faulty. What is this kind of logic?
