Faulty iPhone 5 charger

Hey you guys, I received my iPhone 5 today and im pretty pleased by it. The only problem I had was, my charger doesn't work. The wire works but the part you plug in the wall won't give me a charge. So I had to use my old charger. Anyone else have this problem?
