hi
the last time i powered up my mbp it started up in 'safe boot' no clue as to why!! when i tried logging on the password didnt work even tho i was certain that it was the right password.
logged on to the guest account and realised that the keyboard was behaving as if the shift key is constantly held down.
when i attached an external keyboard i was log into the admin a/c.

has any one else come across this? can this be solved by reinstalling the os? is there an alternative solution to a h/w change?

thanks for the help,
S

Could you give more detail about the particular MacBook you're using? What have you changed recently? New programs or thing like that. Anything at all, even if you think it's insignificant.
