It started last year in July or so.
Toast gave me the following errors:

iTunes gave me an error too when burning an audio-CD.
So i gave the PowerBook to a premium reseller (no Apple store around) to get it fixed under AppleCare warranty.
The SuperDrive was working fine for a few months until the same errors appeared again.
Back to the store for another repair in December. Now the same errors turn up again.
Am I missing something here? Should I give Apple a ring?
They said they had replaced the SuperDrive each time they got it.
And whenever I got the PowerBook back the SuperDrive firmware update showed up, but this time it won't install. It just shows up each time I check for updates.
Could it be that the Drive is just dirty, because the little felt cover is missing for ages. It came off one day when ejecting a DVD. Would that be covered by warranty as well?
cheers everyone.
