I have encountered a problem which noone I know has had. I would like to know if others have had it. I run a Titanium PowerBook G4. It cam with two USB ports. The little black "sheet" came out of one of the ports, so I started using a hub. Now the little black "sheet" or "tooth" came out of the second port. Has anyone else had this happen? What do you do to fix it?

Unfortunately the USB ports are a part of the Logic Board which is the processor and the rest of your ports. Do you have AppleCare? If you do have the logic board replaced. If you don't have AppleCare the replacement cost is a few hundred dollars, or you can get a USB card for the type II card slot that you powerbook has, this could save you a lot of money.

What is a type II card slot and where do I get the USB card?
I have another insurance which I paid for, but I don't think it will cover a new
logic board.

I thank you all for your help. I have found what I need... I was confused at first because it did not look like I had a slot to use the U2CB-2 card on the TiBook, but It have, and it does Thanx all.
