I have a 2009 macbook that is running Yosemite and my USB seems to have somewhat stopped working. It reads my thumb drive just fine, but when I connect my iPod touch it doesn't seem to want to work. My iPod starts to charge when its plugged in but does not connect to iTunes or anything like that. And it isn't my iPod since it connects to my wife laptop just fine(she has the same setup as me) I have tried doing the SMC reset and nothing seems to work. It was working when I was trying to do a factory reset on my iPods and I guess after many hard resets on my iPods my usb just refuses to acknowledge my iPods anymore. Is there anything that I can do to fix this?
