Hi!

I've been using Favicon bar 1.3.2 for Safari for some time now. Unfortunately, since upgrading to Mojave several things got broken: I cannot add links via drag&drop, I cannot access the settings via the cogwheel icon and sometimes icon symbols vanish, being replaced by a rectangle.

In short, I need a new extension that is fully compatible with Mojave and up to date. Is there some solution out there?

Thanks!

Safari 12 removes support for Safari extensions that are distributed outside of Apple’s extensions gallery. The gallery itself will also close in a few days, effectively ending support altogether. The replacement Safari app extensions do not support toolbars.

There are some workarounds presently, but they require you to install the extension from the developer menu in Safari. This is not a comfortable or even lasting solution, however.

If this feature is important to you, then I suggest you look for a different browser.
