Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone would know why all my favicons on my bookmark bar turned into grey circles (like when a website doesn't have a specific one). I think it happened when I registered to Google Chrome, as since Chrome also keeps on bugging, quitting without notice, and saying I'm not signed in properly on Chrome (but then I sign in again and it quite often buggs anyway).
I tried to delete Chrome with AppZapper and downloaded it again but it didn't change anything, alas.
If anyone can help it would be wonderful.
(My mac is OSX 10.6.8 if it matters)
Thanks a lot,

Marie

In most cases, app removal software doesn't do a thorough job of finding and removing files/folders related to deleted apps. For more information, read this and this. If you just want to delete the app, drag the .app file to the trash. No other software needed. If you want to completely remove all associated files/folders, no removal apps will do the job.

The most effective method for complete app removal is manual deletion:

Thanks! I deleted everything this way and reinstalled chrome, now seems to be working normally. Thanks again,
Marie
