That looks really nice, but a little bit out of my price range.

Plus I think I'd like something a little more compact.

It's small and powerfull enough to charge the thing three and a half times over.

The ones you originally listed in your thread are too cheap, honestly. They'll work but not for very long. These will last you for well over a year, the others half a dozen uses.

Haha, I'm all for alternative energy, but I'm not sure if solar's the way to go.

Yeah, I kind of wondered about that.

Plus it looks like it might be better suited for being stored in the freezer than the Lucky Packs (that's where I always store batteries).

The newtrent seems like a hit/miss on build quality. The cheapest one is $40 and I bought mine for $40 on bay so it's the same price. You might wanna check it out - the charging is super fast too :D

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8H7 Safari/6533.18.5)

I looked at the amount of people having to return their stuff. In any case I think it's important to remember you get what you pay for.

Another vote for New Trent. I have both the IMP50d and the IMP500. Had the 500 first but it wouldn't charge my iPad unless it was sleeping, has only a 500mah port. The 50d has a 1amp port as well. I can charge my phone or MIFI several times and get a 50% charge on the iPad. The 500 has an auto off feature that keeps it from discharging if it accidentally gets turned on, the 50d doesn't. The 50d turns on by itself VERY easily, not a good thing.

Had to edit my post, I mixed up the 500 with the 50...sorry

Hey. I've been reading this forum for a while now but is my first post: What about the RichardSolo 9000mah mobile power? I'm thinking about this over the New Trent & the HyperMac products. I'd love some feedback on build quality, compatibility, & any other pros/cons. Here's a link:
