Favorite fax software?

I have been using FAXstf because it came with my Mac. I'm not crazy about it. I was able to use an option called Fax Print for a while which allowed me to fax a page right from within whatever application I was working in, which was great, but I lost the driver and don't want to buy FAXstf X Pro.

I need to be able to fax a page from within a document while still working in the application.

Any favorite programs that you use that are able to do this?

Is there a way to just get the Macs internal modem to do this?

This feature was added to OS X a couple of years ago and is done through the standard print panel.

Can you fax using that without a phone line? Can I fax through high speed internet?

The built in Fax feature requires a modem. If you want to fax using just your internet connection, then there are a number of (paid for) services out there which work using email.
