I'm sure most of you have Reeder, which is very nice. I also have MobileRSS Pro, which is great and NewsRack which is very nice too.

But I think I found one that I might settle on using.

Anyone seen SlideReader yet? This one is very nice and I think it might be my main RSS app on the iPad.

I have River of News too. I can't seem to get it to display the badge number on the app icon and does it show the number of new and unread articles in each rss thread?

It's Reeder all the way for me. I've tried several, Reeder is fast and it syncs with Google :)

I've been very happy with Reeder, but River of News looks nice and a new app — The Feed — also looks promising.

Nevermind. It just started doing it yesterday for some reason. Strange. If I had selected either the new or all tab and then closed the app, the badge wouldn't show, but it started working correctly yesterday.

Add me to the list of River of News fans. I tried Pulse and Flud, but never warmed up to them. My next choice after River of News would probably be FeeddlerPro, but It's really our of contention anymore.

I will give SlideReader a look/see but Reeder and RON are my favorites and work great. Iv'e shelved NewRack for now and Pluse has always seemed clunky to me even tho I keep it around. Reeder and RON are so clean and easy to navigate.

I'm always on the look out tho for something new so I will go check it out.

thanks I may have missed it without the thread.

I use Feedler on my iPad. I'm quite happy with it, although I use Byline on my iPhone and I'll be checking the iPad version of that when it comes out in the next few weeks.

I love Reeder but I'm actually finding myself using Flipboard a lot too as an RSS reader. I think the reason why I like it as RSS app is it makes stories I would otherwise skim over stand out a bit more. The UI isn't too bad either. The great thing is if you have twitter like me you can group news twitter feeds into lists and add those lists into Flipboard and the result is pretty spectacular. Great for lounging about and reading.
I got Pulp yesterday too and love the way it pulls in the entire story rather than just what comes through RSS. But I don't really like the UI.

Feedler is really nice, but I wish they'd redo the night theme. It's pretty not shibby at all.

I'd say that Slide Reader is the best one on the iPad. It's simply awesome. However, it's a bit crash prone which is annoying, but damn. It's simply the best one.

Reeder for me. Especially now that they have an iPhone, iPad and Mac version. I like having the same interface on all three devices.

Newsrack for the better functionality but Reeder for speed.

Newrack lets you add and remove feeds while Reeder doesn't. Also Newsrack's app is universal so there's no need to purchase a separate iPhone and iPad version like Reeder would require if you owned both devices. But Reeder is faster.

The rest are just eye-candy, although River of News seems nice. I just have no intention of buying yet another RSS reader.
