I favor Ray Ban Predators with glass lenses. Those are my day to day sunglasses. I do have a pair of Spy's as well.

Currently i own a Gucci, i wouldn't say it is my favorite, however it is doing the Job. I have not thought about buying another one as i am not into sunglasses that much.
Serengeti for driving - widely acknowledged as having the best (non-prescription) lenses of any manufacturer of sunglasses.
I also have a few pairs of Ray-Bans including a pair of classic aviators and also a pair of Maui Jim I bought in Hawaii (of all places). Being a man I am not really a big fan of 'designer' sunglasses like Gucci or Prada.

The cheapy kind from Walmart. The only other I own are two pairs from Claires that were buy one get one free.

Unfortunately, I spent way more than that, because I needed prescription lenses. And now they sit in my sunglass holder in my car, because the smucks that put in the lenses screwed up and the edges are coming out, screwing up the lenses, rendering them useless. effin 600 bucks down the drain.

Currently, i own a pair of transitions glasses so i don't need a pair of proper shades but the transitions don't really go that dark, so maybe in the future, i might get a pair of prescription shades made by Ray-ban or something.
I wore glasses for a long time, so never got to wear real sunglasses most of the time (never had prescription ones). So when I got my lasik surgery done, the first thing I bought was a pair of awesome sunglasses. I got a pair of Maui Jim's. Expensive, but blow away any sunglasses I've ever tried. Wasn't going to spend that much, but they fit me perfectly, so I went for it. I've had them for about 6 years now I suppose, maybe 7, and I still think they are the best set of sunglasses I've ever tried on.
I own a pair of black Oakleys flak jackets. They are amoung some of the best sunglasses I have owned.
