Just out of curiosity... what is everyone's favorite third party application?

Please give only one...

Oh, and two conditions whatever you suggest have to meet...

1.) They can't be made by Apple. Because if it's made by Apple that means it's not third party.
2.) It has to run on Intel Macs. (Don't bring up your favorite application from the Lisa.)

After a week or so I intend to make a poll to find out which application is the best.

(Oh, and when I say application... that includes games and utilities. Plug-ins don't count.)

This is such an open-ended question because I have different apps that are favorites for different things. As far as the one app that I could live without but would prefer not to, I'm going with Quicksilver.

Maybe I'm just a freetard but... $50!?

They've got to be nuts to think anyone would pay for that. Try $10. It seems like a much more reasonable price... although perhaps I should actually give the demo a shot...

Edit: Quicksilver... free? Wait... this sounds like exactly what HotApps did and then more! Man am I glad I never bought that!

Ugh I can't decide. I have many favorite apps but I would have to go with Little Snitch by Objective Development.

Toughie. For me it's a tossup between Pixelmator and Handbrake, both of which I find a joy to use.

Somewhere between Skitch, Quicksilver, Adium, Transmission and Newsfire

I guess I can rule out Transmission and Newsfire, because there are alternatives that suit me ok, but I'd hate to give up the others.

Favorite in the sense that every time I use it I can accomplish my work quickly and easily and it leaves me with a sense of happiness because there really wasn't anything to dread in the first place? That would be Coda, of course!

Even though we've beat this dead horse before, I'd still have to say Vienna (fave RSS reader); EasyFind (so long, spotlight!); and SuperDuper, for fast, painless backup
