Just thought this would interesting to see

Whats your favourite Apple commercial released; what was it advertising

it can be from anytime.

Personally my favourite is the Ridley Scott directed one from 1984

when apple released the first macintosh

see it at www.apple-history.com

i currently have 53 apple commercaials on my hard drive...
but i like the G3 one.

"It's not only the worlds most powerful personal computer. It's also the most, open minded. Presenting the all new, Power Macintosh, G3"

I also like Quadra Revolution:
"You are about to witness a revelution in high performance technology. It's handeling will astound you. It's power will take your breath away. But what makes this technology so revolutionary, is what it runs on. Your imagination. Introducing, Macintosh Quadra. The most powerful macintosh, ever."

I also like the Cube one.

The "watch the skies" one is cool, about airport....

I also like the jaguar zoom one...
The steamroller/PB G3 one isn't bad...
Nor is the Snow iMac one.
1984 one is great, so is the TAM one.
Windows support one is cool.
Pods Unite is cool
Have you seen the first Power to be your best one? I like the sound it makes right after he clicks the mouse...
The independance day and mission impossibile ones are cool...

Woah
did i leave any out?

Here's to the crazy one's is my favorite...truely inspirational. The script sounds as if it was written by a top public speaker. I;m not sure who wrote the think different script but its great.

The Jeff Goldblum narrated "3 steps to get on the internet" iMac one.

"Step 3: [pause] There is no step 3! [repeat with laughter]"

Does anyone else remember the ad shortly after the first Mac came out that first hit on the theme of how simple a computer it was to use compared to other brands? The camera is focused on the documentation for MS-DOS--which is enormous--and then the documentation for the Mac is gently dropped into the frame. It is dwarfed by the DOS documentation. I think this was my favorite Mac ad, and one of the most effective ever IMHO.

i lie the one where the usa has 4 tanks protectin g a g4 :D they said something that the apple g4 as soo powerfull that it was a threat to mankind or something and then they showed a pc and said t, it was nothing

I accutally think that the "Tank" one was the reason i decided to switch and bought a G4... LOL

Here's to the crazy ones is great... and is now taking on a whole new meaning as apple's marketshare comes increasingly closer to the incidence rate of schizophrenia. =p

my favorite, because it's the last of Apple's true desert-corporate-badass style, is the Color Classic ad... aka the guy on the motorcycle that snatches the classic up...

i also loved the quadra ad, as mentioned above, the steamroller was very dramatic, the orginal print ads for Apple computers are cool too, you can see one in "trading places" with eddy murphey and dan akroyd, on a newspaper...

pnw

I liked the "To the crazy ones" commercial a lot as far as the message that it seemed to have almost like "The Macintosh community is more mature, more developed". I also liked the burnt bunny ones for the pure enjoyment of seeing them toast the PII guys.

I love the FP iMac sticking it's tounge out at the guy in the window, I also love the iBook ad with the kid on the plane but my favorite one is the Pixar commercial where the iMac looks at his "SuperDrive" and is embarrassed to when it realizes it is being watched.

Revenuee I have the ID4 and MI ones. I will post em on my site later if you want to see them. Email me for the URL.

Greg and John - first network at 30000 feet
Kareem Abdul Jabar commercial
iBook Commercial with guy blasting - who let the dogs out
Big and Small powerbook commercial
