Well, what is your favourite restaurant?

Mine has to be White Spot and their Triple-O sauce, absolutely amazing. :)

From the old What are some cool places to eat where you live? thread:

If you're ever in Bergen...

Burger: Bon Appétit (Nøstet), yes it's a chain but after they closed the hamburger bar in Nygaten many years ago, this place has had the best burgers...

Wildcard: This was a tough one, but I have to go with the two fast food places in Bergen that exclusivly serves sea food: Søstrene Hagelin and Madam Bergen, both have the best fish soup, the highly recommended local speciality, and the ever popular fish cakes, perfect both as a snack or for dinner...

Fine dining: Naboen (site mainly in Norwegian, but the menu is also in English). Not really a fancy place, but great food and atmosphere. 50/50 Swedish/Continental menu, I tend to go with the continental but not always.

There's a Korean restaurant in Sydney CBD named "Seoul-ria, and while the food doesn't seem very authentic when compared to some other Korean restaurants I've been to, I love the atmosphere. There's a button that looks like a doorbell on each table, and when you push it, a waiter/waitress will come to your table within 5 seconds (usually). There's just so much staff working there, it's incredible. The staff is probably underpaid though. They always seem to be in those types of restaurants (ie: ones with too many staff members).

The man who owns that restaurant must be one of the absolute richest men in the restaurant business in Sydney. The number of people who line up to eat there is staggering. You wouldn't believe it until you see it.

Oh God, I'm rubbish at remembering names. I've only been there twice. It's in a modern looking building just off Piazza San Marco in Venice, if that helps :)

Anyone who lives in the Bay Area, CA ought to know Zachary's Pizza. Their deep-dish is honestly legendary, and for good reason.

In other genres though, India Palace In Moraga has incredible Indian food, and Las Palmas (across the street from Zachary's) has some of the best burritos I've ever tasted.
