My favourite feature of watchOS2 is the Nightstand feature. It may not be for some but it is definitely for me.

So what are your favourite feature of watchOS 2.

I returned my twelve south stand because of the nightstand feature looks great, maybe apple releases a portrait version of it, if so I'll buy the stand again. But I'm not taking a chance of missing the return window and being stuck with it

I'm more curious as to what kind of apps are going to be written for it, and whether there is going to be a lot of them.

It's hard to tell. It's all so new.

How about a thread for app ideas?

This is the first time I am hearing this. Can you elaborate? Or are you talking about video playback API for third party apps?
I think I read there would be limited video play back but details have now been specified yet.

I can't believe Apple could be so stupid as to not let Nightstand run in either orientation when almost every stand puts the watch in portrait view. But hell, they make me press the crown 3 times just to see the time again, and put a second button on the watch that's only purpose for me is to help to reboot the watch, so yes, I can see them being that stupid.

the white Apple logo that is shown on the reboot screen is my favorite feature. I see it so much even when I do not want to see it, it magically appears. gotta love betas :)

on a side note i wish Apple would hurry up and allow direct access to the health features for devs.
