Faxing in Leopard with Apple USB Modem

Hi - setting up a new iMac for a friend next week. The need to send and receive faxes. In the past they used to use FaxSTF - I have read many reports of this not playing nice with Leopard and the Apple Modem.

Can anyone let me know what works for them on Leopard with Apple's USB modem - Pagesender or FaxSTF - or even Leopard's built in fax (!)

Would just like to get things organised so I get it right first time if possible.
